Carcinogenic Dyes Testing 


The carcinogenicity of dyes is the performance that some dyes will cause tumour or cancer in human body or animals. A variety of causes of cancer exist. The one is producing cancerogenic chemical matter under certain condition; the another is that the dyes will lead to cancerization in touch with human body or animal for a long time, that is the carcinogenic disperse dyes in this item.

9 carcinogenic disperse dyes are banned to sell and use according to Directive 1999/43/EC and Eco-label of European Commission (2002/371/EC). Details in the table below-- ecological textiles standard issued by Oeko-Tex Association. In the Oeko-Tex Standard 100, it is required that the limited value is 50mg/kg of every carcinogenic disperse dyes in textiles and fix quantify required at carcinogenic disperse dyes in textiles. Along with the increasing idea on ecological textiles, many famous buyers stipulate that carcinogenic disperse dyes are not detected in samples (under the limit of detection).
